I had a friend teach me how to cook, I mean I basically observed her doing it and became fascinated by it. Cookbooks came later. I can't remember the titles unfortunately. What whiteboard app to use is a bit of an open question, as it's unfortunately hard to have a viable business model for them. I've had a few I've really enjoyed, only for them to go under.
