10 Best FTP Clients for WordPress Users (Mac and Windows)
ForkLift only works for Mac users, so Windows and Linux folks should look at some of the other FTP clients. As for choosing ForkLift based on features, consider it if you’d like access to many remote connections, some of which include Google Drive, SMB, and NFS. This is also a premium software, so if you don’t want to pay for an FTP client then you need to look for something...

For those who work in Finder a lot, Forklift will feel similar but offers extended functionality. Start with a basic dual-pane interface and use drag and drop to move files. • The Origins of DS_store (2006)
I wholly agree with you on this one. Windows has its fair share of issues, but Windows Explorer feels like peak file browsing to me. For MacOS I can recommend Forklift [0]. I've been using it for years and it is a bit closer to the Windows Explorer way of doing things. Does what it is meant to do. Affordable. No nags. Gets out of the way. Not perfect, but soooo much better than the horrific experience that is... - Source: Hacker News / 3 days ago
  • macOS Finder is still bad at network file copies
Forklift (https://binarynights.com/) and Path Finder (https://www.cocoatech.io/) are the two big ones I think. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
  • Double Commander – Changes in version 1.1.0
If you're on Mac, you might also want to try Forklift – by coincidence, they just release major version 4 yesterday. https://binarynights.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • Total Commander
There are couple which will have two panels by default, but in my opinion, ForkLift is very native macOS commander-like app -- https://binarynights.com. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • Finder alternatives for performance?
Forklift is what I use though never with that many files in a single directory. I know I have used it for ones that had 1000+ files with no slowness. It has a free trial so give it a try. Source: about 1 year ago

  • I can't access my schools website using the Tor network.
I tried it on the Firefox and Tor Browser on Whonix, same error pops up because it's using the Tor network? Is there any way I can bypass this error so I can visit my schools website, or another way to use the site anonymously? Site is Clever. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Learned helplessness
Mine also don't know what bookmarks are. So to get into Schoology, they type clever.com into the search bar - not the address bar - then log into it, then click the student page, then find Schoology, then click it. And the wifi in my part of the building sucks, so it takes them 5 minutes. Source: over 1 year ago
