Most web browsers have a quick proxy switcher extension and I recommend you use that if you do tunnel your traffic over ssh. My personal favorite is FoxyProxy. A couple things to note is if your using socks5 with a browser, check the box proxy DNS over socks5. If you use firefox go to about:config, accept the warning. Type " network.proxy.socks_remote_dns" and set this option to TRUE to prevent firefox from... Source: over 1 year ago
On an individual level, proxy rotation can be carried out manually. For instance, a user can manually configure the proxy settings in a browser. Proxy managers such as FoxyProxy can be of great help in setting up and easily changing proxies. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
Consider using the FoxyProxy browser extension. You won't need to use proxychains command to start firefox every time, can setup multiple proxy settings (like for Burpsuit, ZAP, TOR, etc...) and change between then with a simple click. Https://getfoxyproxy.org/. Source: almost 3 years ago

The above setup is critical to a reliable system. I'd use enterprise quality routers for a store and home connection. I personally use https://pfsense.org but there are many to choose from and several open source. Source: almost 2 years ago
What I would do is put that thing in DMZ and install a good router behind it like https://www.pfsense.org. No affiliation, just been my router for many years. There's also it's sibling https://opnsense.org. There are many, just get a enterprise quality router. Source: almost 2 years ago
