Do you use frame.io? You can mark up notes and revisions, and export those as an edl for Resolve and import as markers into Resolve. The use a tool like https://aescripts.com/review-importer/ to import the same comments from frame.io into after effects. Or just use the Frame.io plugin directly inside After Effects too. I never did. I've started sharing cuts with clients a different way and have had to apologize for the glitch. Just tried frame.io today and am still having playback issues. Really frustrating. Source: 7 months ago

So I do remote editing for my brother's training business. We use frame.io and I always download the proxies (sometimes 80-90 clips) to a folder in my documents folder. Is there any way to make it so that all of the clips can get re-pointed to the new file location instead of doing them all manually?Example. Source: 8 months ago
Bonus) This probably doesn't affect you, but in the real world you also need to factor in the costs to do your service, not just your own time. So things like software licence costs, computer costs, review platform (like frame.io) costs, etc. ALL of those things add up to increase your edit rate as a freelancer. Source: 12 months ago

DBngin provides a free, all-in-one database management tool that includes MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis. After DBngin has been installed, you can connect to your database at 127.0.0.1 using the root username and an empty string for the password. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Ok I see what you mean, yeah that's a pain. You could turn off MySQL in MAMP and run a separate DB app such as DBngin (https://dbngin.com/), which makes it easier to start/stop different DB's but only offers different versions of MySQL, not MariaDB. Source: about 2 years ago
Laravel has a built in server which leverages local PHP. I use that combined with https://dbngin.com/ for MySQL + Redis. Then frontend is ran with local node (via https://volta.sh/, also very quick). Source: over 2 years ago
