Do you use frame.io? You can mark up notes and revisions, and export those as an edl for Resolve and import as markers into Resolve. The use a tool like https://aescripts.com/review-importer/ to import the same comments from frame.io into after effects. Or just use the Frame.io plugin directly inside After Effects too. So I do remote editing for my brother's training business. We use frame.io and I always download the proxies (sometimes 80-90 clips) to a folder in my documents folder. Is there any way to make it so that all of the clips can get re-pointed to the new file location instead of doing them all manually?Example. Source: 8 months ago
Bonus) This probably doesn't affect you, but in the real world you also need to factor in the costs to do your service, not just your own time. I use Stroyboarder by wonderunit (its free) https://wonderunit.com/storyboarder/ You can either draw in the app or make your scenes in another program and drop them in. Eg, I could make a bunch of frames in illustrator on separate artboards and drop them in. It also links up to photoshop with the press of a button. Source: about 1 year ago
