Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. I would NEVER use anything else than Firefox as my main browser. HOWEVER, I'm always looking for a secondary browser that I can use for a quick consult or managing my router settings quickly without wasting too much RAM in the process. Until a few days ago, Thorium was the best one I could find, blazing fast, low RAM usage; but now I am trying Naver Whale and, with the exact same number of tabs and extensions...
