Thanks for the feedback - the "new message" is just a live chat notification that someone is available to talk if you have questions. It's from a company called Drift, and it's in use by thousands of companies around the world. Not a scam, nor is it tracking you. You'll see the same one on www.snowflake.com or gong.io for example. US guy here (not a lawyer), definitely set up the company first and have written stuff in place for what each founder/dev gets. Team disagreements over a multi-sig or distribution can be a killer and are likely going to be your main issue.
