Also known as voice-to-text, speech recognition software is another technology that provides computer assistance and increased accessibility to disabled individuals. With it, blind and visually impaired people can use the Internet to navigate, type, as well as interact with web content using their voice. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Speech-to-Text / Unreal Engine
I was looking to do something similar, but a long time ago, so I don't know the latest. However Google's Speech To Text seems to be quite good: https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-text/ and I believe it can transcribe "live" if that is what you are after. Source: over 1 year ago

  • AI to summarize articles
OK, I may have found something here - tldrthis.com was linked there and you can paste a URL and there's a browser plugin. Here's to hoping this can do what I'm looking for. Thanks again! Source: over 1 year ago
  • I made a chrome extension that summarises articles into a single paragraph using AI, making it super easy to save stuff in Obsidian. Hit copy and then paste into Obsidian for better indexing and rediscovery of saved articles. Search "squish AI" in the chrome store to try it out :)
Instead of having an AI vaguely tell you what it might be about in long prose, try something like https://tldrthis.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Importance of detailed character backstory?
Does it matter if the player is having fun writing them? I sure have, I'll even write a book about my character with as much cliché as you'd expect but I have fun doing it, you can read it, throw it on tldrthis.com or don't. The player character is their entire vessel for the game, if they're writing paragraphs of backstory I'd be happy because that usually means they want to invest that much in the play. • Reserch articles - summary (for thesis)
