I believe Eleuther was much more selective what training data to use which is why they didn't need so many parameters. But is sounds like they're a pretty dedicated crew that will be working to make more open-source alternatives for ChatGPT for years to come. There is an app called Pocket, also a Chrome extension which allows you to saves links and you can tag them to organise. If you use this on mobile, use the ‘share via’ on LinkedIn and you save to Pocket. That’s how I do it! Hope that helps. Source: over 1 year ago
