  • Is there only 1 type of 4g network?
Search your phone on GSM arena and look for “VoLTE” compatible. Source: 8 months ago
  • Recommendations for an ergonomic mouse?
EDIT: Also if there is a tool where I can search/filter mice by my criteria I'd be interested in that as well. Something like gsmarena.com for computer mice. If it's out there I would love to know because I couldn't find a better way of looking for a mouse that met these requirements than looking through tons of Amazon listings or posting here 😅. • Is there a quick way to switch activation between phones?
Gsmarena.com shows that international versions have a physical sim in addition to esim. Why the differences? Only Apple knows. Source: almost 1 year ago
  • Hi, I live in the US
In general, the cell bands used in the US are not supported by many Xiaomi and Redmi phones (not sure if any of them have good coverage of US bands). Check on gsmarena.com for the band coverage and then check your carrier's website for what bands they have service on. If there isn't a good overlap, your phone will not be very useful for making cellular calls or using cellular data. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Not an iPad Pro Review: Why iPadOS Still Doesn't Get the Basics Right
I definitely think you should be able to add keyboard layouts at a software level on iPadOS and iOS, but one possible solution to the problem right now is using a programmable keyboard using QMK [1], ZMK [2], or some other open-source firmware. There's even a usb-usb converter [3] that will convert keystrokes from any keyboard into ones that you map using TMK or QMK, so you can use your own. [1]... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago

  • Mondrian – KDE Plasma desktop inspired by Piet Mondrian's paintings
I appreciate the Mondrian aesthetic. Has anyone noticed that the High Contrast theme for Google Chrome uses the same colors? GMK Mondrian is my most-used keycaps set for my custom keyboards: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=86616.0. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

You could also make/get a converter that turns pretty much any USB keyboard into a QMK keyboard: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=69169.0 https://yaowei.dev/posts/usb-to-usb-converter/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
