Headspin Reviews

  1. Great platform for testing across multiple devices

Headspin has been an essential part of our testing process from the beginning. We've used it to test everything from mobile sites to native applications and we've found it to be invaluable for both developers and testers. We can run tests on any device from any location in the world, and the bug reporting feature makes it easy to track down and fix errors.

👍 Pros:    Performance testing|Cross browser testing|Automation|Mobile app testing|Great customer support
    👎 Cons:    Expensive
  2. Great testing platform

We use Headspin automation to run our functionality tests across multiple browsers and operating systems. We can identify UI misalignment specific to browsers or failures due to incompatibility with a particular browser. The good part is you can automate screenshots and get insights into where the UI of your website is going off. Then we can use the live feature to identify and debug the compatibility issue. We strongly believe customer experience is the key, and that could impede your product growth. With Headspin, we could see improvements in identifying errors before our customers do!

👍 Pros:    Cross browser testing|Performance testing|Real device testing|Great customer support
    👎 Cons:    A bit expensive
  3. HeadSpin Cross Browser Testing tool is a must.

We have been using HeadSpin for a while now, and we're pleased with their services.

Their customer support is available 24x7 and they have helped us many times with any issues or questions we had. They are always up to date with the latest version of browsers, which is something we highly value.

They have a wide selection of browsers and operating systems, which makes it easy for us to identify the issue on our website and solve it in no time.

    👍 Pros:    Cross browser testing|Automated testing|Performance testing

Why choose HeadSpin over BrowserStack?
Another reason why HeadSpin is the best alternative to BrowserStack is artificial intelligence, which when used in testing solutions, extends massive potential. HeadSpin helps in harnessing the potential of AI to analyze the results of performance tests. Its AI-based issue detection engine runs a suite of analytics to identify, quantify, and prioritize issues observed during...

  • Getting my feet wet with Kubernetes
Inside each namespace, there are K8 services pointing to self hosted tools (at this point, I’ve only got NocoDB setup). Each namespace also has a Postgres database. The database is hostpath storage mounted since I am only using single node clusters and also didn’t have time to look too much into “Stateful Sets” and how to correctly host a database within a K8 cluster. - Source: dev.to / 23 days ago
  • Pocketbase: Open-source back end in 1 file
It is great to see the number of good opensource projects in this area. Grist and NocoDB deserve mentions, although more targeted towards database management. It is also amazing that they provide so simple ways to get started (single file/electron) - https://github.com/gristlabs. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • Unicorn Startup Airtable Lays Off 27% of Firm, Shifts Focus to Big Clients
Baserow is cool. We evaluated it within our company a few months ago and eventually settled for Nocodb (https://nocodb.com/) - easy to run, more mature. Leaptable is another Open Source framework like Airtable I saw recently with support for AI Agents. https://github.com/peterwnjenga/leaptable. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • Best apps for transitioning from Spreadsheets to SQLite?
This morning, I've stumbled upon NocoDB and am excited to give it a spin. This promising find spurred me to reach out to you all for more hidden gems. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Ask HN: What are Airtable alternatives with higher rate limits?
[Baserow], [APITable], [Grist], and [Rowy] are all open source Airtable alternatives which offer hosted SaaS versions that include API access, though it's a bit difficult to compare the API rate limits across all these products. Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it. All the above products can be self-hosted — and you might want to look at [NocoDB]... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
