I have recently immigrated to the US. I need health insurance until I find a job which provides with one. I visited healthcare.gov and it was bit confusing as some of the plans were showing up a minimum of 500$/month (49 year old). Could someone advise me whether there are cheaper options. Go to healthcare.gov and see if you qualify for insurance. Maximum out of pocket depends on the type of plan you pick and what it covers. If you don't qualify through healthcare.gov, you will need to buy insurance on your own which could be quite expensive. Source: 7 months ago

You can still get it done without insurance, it's just really expensive. It will be thousands of dollars cheaper to get insurance for a year or so and have the surgery covered than to try and pay for it out of pocket, so it's worth maybe getting insurance. Info.com used to have a great nutrition calculator. One of the things I checked when I switched to veganism was if I was getting enough nutrients without animal products. I was amazed that whole food veganism was perfect at getting me a perfectly balanced nutrition profile with way more than enough protein. Like everything over three days average was at least %120. Yup I got one of these this morning -Ledger Security Update. It does look pretty authentic but the source of the email gives it away. When I see its from some scammer whose email is like info.com. More likely Eastern Europe or Russian in origin. Just gets worse every year with scammers. Source: almost 2 years ago
