  • Has anyone made a game in React
Yup, game similar to Geoguessr https://hideandseek.world/. Source: 12 months ago
  • What's this "Hide and Seek World" game? A Geoguessr Competitor?
Here's their website. Never heard of them until they followed me on Twitter a moment ago. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • I made a simple quiz game for geography fans. In “World Streaks” you have to guess the country from 4 options based on random street photos. The goal is to get the longest streak without making a mistake. It’s free and you can download it on the App Store (link in the comments).
I know and I have been for a while with my other game: https://hideandseek.world/ Without competition, games would be pretty boring 😉. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • This GeoGuessr alternative is the best in my opinion...
You have 2 game modes with 2 games every day to play (free account). One game mode is there you set your hiding spot and people need to guess it. Other one is to find the location that game has choosen. You have 30 seconds or 45 per round to guess it. Here I managed to find a location in 30 seconds... Hide and seek- https://hideandseek.world/. • Popular Mac app 'Bartender' acquired by new unknown developer
I think Dato can do this: https://sindresorhus.com/dato. - Source: Hacker News / 28 days ago
  • Tools that keep me productive
For managing meetings, Dato is a better date app for macOS. It's great for having multiple time zones in the address bar. I have my local time as well as UTC. I also use it for upcoming meetings and events. Previously I was using Meeter which is great for this, but it's one less app I need now. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
  • How I stay (more) focused with ADHD
Dato is a calendar app that gives me quick access to my calendar from the menu bar. My favorite feature is that it shows upcoming calls in the menu bar. And there’s a global shortcut to open this link in your default browser. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
  • Notion Calendar
Weird question, but it seems similar to me; do you know how it compares to Dato? https://sindresorhus.com/dato. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • Today — Today’s schedule in your menu bar
I made this companion to the built-in Calendar app for people who want to be able to quickly check their upcoming schedule without having to open the Calendar app. It also lets you quickly join video calls. I'm the creator of the Dato calendar app, which is quite large in scope. This app was a personal challenge to create the simplest calendar app possible. Source: about 1 year ago
