HireVue mentions (2)

  • Are OA open internet?
Can I use the internet during online assessments to access stackoverflow/ online resources towards the coding question? To give context it was through hirevue.com and I wasn't in a call or anything. Srry if dumb question. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Going to publish a short recruitinghell inspired rant on interviewing, comments? Additions? Thoughts?
In the spirit of transparency, let’s name and shame Hirevue, who, in near comedic levels of villainy, collected biometric data without asking for permission (lawsuit #1). They then went even further and decided to make this biometric data account for up to 30% of the candidate’s score (lawsuit #2). I’ll include a quote from the second lawsuit:. Hey, Soro dev here, sorry, not too many purchases from NZ yet. You can use the following to switch between App Store countries: http://switchr.imagility.io/ Add it to your Home Screen and then it will show the list of countries to switch to. After switching to US, you will be able to see the reviews from there. Just switch it back to NZ afterwards. Also feel free to msg me if you have any specific question. Source: about 2 years ago
