Our goal is to reclaim couch surfing and make it easy and safe for people to connect across cultures, keeping the free-sharing spirit alive and all the amazing travel experiences accessible to everyone. Couchsurfing: my preferred way of touring: you get to meet great and likeminded people, you don't have to lug around camping gear (although it's good to bring an indoor-sleeping bag). The site with name couchsurfing.com is broken. But the oldschool warmshowers.org and the new couchers.org are great!
