I often use the Hunter Google Chrome extension to assist me in discovering the contact details of new outreach targets. The only drawback is that I quite often exceed my free monthly allowance of lead requests.
Based on our record, Hunter seems to be a lot more popular than Quip. While we know about 150 links to Hunter, we've tracked only 2 mentions of Quip. Definitely speak to recruiters (Private Equity Recruiting is the top option in Europe, IMO), but the best way to do it is to use a tool like hunter.io to find the email addresses of general partners at top firms, and (I can't stress this enough) send them qualified dealflow with your high-level analysis (I'll also add more detail below). How is this tool different from https://quip.com/? I don't see any features that set it aside except "Conclude" button. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
What a lot of teams in my company do is have a less formal part (more like brainstorming) done with Quip (https://quip.com/) before having the more formal part in Amazon WorkDocs (https://aws.amazon.com/workdocs/... Disclaimer, I work for Amazon). Workdocs is a pretty good tool for versioning, commenting on and sharing Word documents, but it's not great for multiple people working on a document at the same time.... - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
