  I know you said you want a free platform, but if you are able to pay, two sources I would check are Planet, which sounds like it might be ideal for you except that it doesn't go very far back in time, and Apollo, which is a multi-source reseller with a good browse tool.   Well it is one of the better early tier monuments, what other reason would they have for making it easier? It has always worked properly and fine.
