Can you double check if you installed the correct URL? https://journalisticapp.com is only the home page, so you need to open the app at https://pwa.journalisticapp.com and install that one. I don’t think comments make a story more visible on HN, it’s not like https://tildes.net/ My belief actually is that visibility of posts is suppressed if they get, say, 20 comments and already have 50 votes.
