Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage Reviews

  1. The best affordable S3 storage out there

At SnapShooter we are no stranger to data. Our customers love using B2 for storing their backups, we love storing our backups there too.

The API works perfectly conforming highly with the AWS S3 API. Making integration a breeze.

If you measure for just data B2 comes out clearly on the top with SnapShooter customers for backup storage, things like MySQL Backups, File backups and database backups.

My only comment that is negative is sometimes uploading can be a little slow.

👍 Pros:    Great value for the money
    👎 Cons:    Could be slow

  • How I Achieved 10x Productivity at Remote Work
I first started working remotely in early 2014 when I was working as a Senior Full-Stack Developer at Jumpshare. I found it different yet intuitive from the very beginning. While working in the same physical space as your peers has its advantages, in remote work however you’ve full control of your environment and surroundings and the best part (for me) is the silence which helps in staying focused. • Deep Learning with “AWS Graviton2 + NVIDIA Tensor T4G” for as low as free* with CUDA 12.2
At Jumpshare , where I hold the position of VP of Engineering, we have successfully turned these challenges into opportunities. Were passionate about implementing the techniques like this to make our machine learning inference tasks more cost-effective. By leveraging the power of AWS Graviton2 and NVIDIA Tensor T4G instances, weve been able to drastically reduce operational costs without compromising performance. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

  • Why aren't devs making desktop apps any more
We're building native desktop apps at https://jumpshare.com. However, it's hard. Very hard. Everyone in our industry has moved towards Electron but we've resisted it for a long time. I have always believed that native experience is the best in the long run. The downside is that it takes more time to build the same feature across two different platforms but this is a risk we're willing to take to provide a superior... - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
