I think the point of real-time analytics is not to make product decisions but to get a sense of presence from your product and celebrate with your team. I was thinking about working on a site similar to this: https://kit.co. Where users can create product bundles for specific hobbies and interests. To create the bundle you search for the product and it pulls in all the product details (photo, title, etc.), presumably using the Amazon Product API.
