Check whether buying European UCITS ETFs offers any tax advantages in your country, in which case going for them is a no-brainer. They might be a good option either way.   It's currency is indeed unhedged according to justetf.com but why is this so much of a factor? I own many etfs that are currency-unhedged and none of them are performing so bad as much as VanEck Global Real Estate. Source: about 1 year ago
