  The key difference here being that this is two way hashing so passwords can be decrypted. In reality, there are a lot of attack vectors like MITM, event logging or sometimes straight up storing data in plaintext. Through these hackers can generally get passwords of all users of these services. So, why don't people use local password managers? Of course I'm not a software developer but as far as the fairemail application is concerned, it's technically at least 'partially' cloud based because I remember when I first setup my valid email accounts it asks for permissions from the email vendors such as gmail.... • Anyone have any luck Installing BlueMail without using the snap? (RPM)

  Go to https://bluemail.me/ then click the arrow next to "Download Snap" and choose your option. I am using POP and downloaded the RPM versions and clicking on it in my downloads folder started the installation process. Source: about 2 years ago
