Aiming to be the OpenTable of kids’ activities, Sawyer raises $1.5 million
Numerous startups now sell class passes for children’s activities, including KidPass, which announced $325,000 in seed funding in January, and Pearachute (it raised $1.2 million last month).

Sawyer, a software platform for kid classes, raises $6 million, including from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative
Much like venture-backed outfits KidPass and Pearachute, customers of Sawyer (who are parents and caregivers mostly) can pay for classes featured directly on its website. Unlike many services that charge a fixed price per month, and/or a membership fee, however, the classes are available à la carte, and no membership is required.

New Startup Helps Parents Find And Sign Up Their Children For Summer Activities
In addition, there are other child-focused, drop-in activity booking websites popping up around KidPass. Sawyer currently offers a similar service for New York City and Los Angeles while Pearachute covers Chicago, Dallas, and Kansas City. The founders of KidPass would be wise to keep an eye on them in order to see what’s working (and what’s not) both inside and outside of...
KidPass raises $5.1 million for its children’s exercise membership service
Most importantly, nonetheless, is that KidPass provides a implies of discovery for children’s pursuits. In the significant markets KidPass serves, there are so several pursuits readily available that mothers and fathers may well not know of all their readily available options. They also could possibly not want to commit to scheduling several periods with an exercise company...

10 Best Apps like Pocket in 2021 - Pocket Alternatives
Flipboard is a unique platform. Flipboard redirects you back to the original web page rather than saving the content on its site. It’s a save-it-for-later app that’s available for iOS and Windows, and it focuses on giving you a simple reading experience. As you save an article to Flipboard, it becomes part of a Magazine. It also enables you to track the interests of others.

17 Powerful Issuu Alternatives Nobody Told You About (1 BIG winner)
From the user’s point of view, Flipboard is a nice bit of publishing software. However, for me, as a flip book creator and publisher, not so much. You have to choose a piece of content to ‘flip’ before you can start creating your magazine, which means you are reliant on other people’s content, not your own. You can’t upload your own PDF files, so for me, it is a no.
