• How do you filter out reading and watching useless information?

  I use the default application on my Fedora KDE installation, Akregator. It's nothing too fancy but it's functional enough. I haven't explored any of the web applications that allow you to log in to your feed—for now I'd rather just export my directory of feeds as an OPML file backup if I'm switching between installations.   NetNewsWire - While there are certainly apps that look better in terms of the UI, this is probably the most you'll be able to get completely free.
