I switched to https://qobuz.com, mainly for the high audio quality (it goes up to 192kHz 24bit, which is worth it for me as I have the necessary equipment to make use of this), but it also supports "Spotify quality" i.e. Mp3 quality/320 kbps, but I stayed for the experience. It does not really have an algorithm, there is one playlist "My weekly Q", which updates each week with songs that you could like. The only... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
Hi, anyone remember that song? I remember I downloaded it from ares and I liked it but unfortunately it wasn't by mr bungle, it was just mislabelled (like the toxic cover). If anyone has it around I would like to hear it again! On last.fm it comes up as some people listen to it from time to time. Any info you have, or the original artist, I'd appreciate it. From what I remember it sounded like a demo and just said... Source: 7 months ago
Try last.fm, great website for recommending music. Those one's you suggested are a bit more jazzy than I usually listen to but maybe try What's Goin' On - Marvin Gaye. Talking Book, or Songs in the Key of Life - Stevie Wonder. Couple of my favorites. Source: 7 months ago

However, I can fully enjoy my last.fm subscription with Tidal thanks to the integrated scrobbler. I could with AM too but it would be necessary to download (and buy) two different scrobblers : one for iOS and one for macOS. Then, I feel like Tidal has more interesting recommendations, especially when we talk about lesser-known artists. Tidal Rising allows for nice discoveries while AM is much more focused on music... Luckily, we have DaisyUI, a component library built on top of Tailwind CSS, providing ready-made components and a variety of themes. It significantly simplifies the process of creating beautiful UI elements. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
DaisyUI offers zero-JS components https://daisyui.com/ I used it for a small form + search result list recently and it works well enough for simple / static stuff. But I think I'll still be reaching for a JS lib first since I'd miss things like inputs-with-autocomplete too much. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
Tailwind is great, but creating everything from scratch is annoying. A nice base of components which can be extended with tailwind would be great. There are a few tailwind frameworks like Flowbite, Daisy Ui, but I like Bulma, PicoCSS and Bootstrap. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
While I have experience with Tailwind and frontend development, I don’t really have the patience to use it. I usually end up using something like Mantine, which is a complete component library UI kit, or Daisy UI, which is a component library built on top of Tailwind. Shadcn/ui is quite similar to Daisy in this sense, but being able to customize the individual components, since they get installed to your... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
Https://daisyui.com is a really great middle ground—you can move as fast as you would in Bulma, then drop down into the weeds with TW if you need it. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
