• That's a library and a half

  I have 827 (thank you librarything.com for the catalogue) and 7 dictionaries in four languages accumulated over 50-odd years. I have several matching sets I’ve bought as they were issued. You just have to (a) buy books and (b) live a long time. Source: 12 months ago

• Keep track of books!

  I use librarything.com to keep track of books I read. One of the things I like most about the site is that it basically works like your own personal library card catalog. You can create "collections" as well as tags to organize your books. You can easily add books by edition, format, or ISBN to your library. • Feeling discouraged over workload

  Wait til you get to CS-330 I'm taking it rn, definitely the hardest class I've ever taken. Also, with that many readings, consider using naturalreaders.com That's what I use for the majority of the readings, I set the WPM at like 230 or so and just follow along, because I read incredibly slow, but can understand it and get through it way faster if I listen to it. • college tips?

  Invest in software like naturalreaders.com that will read your assignments out loud. I'm sure there are better versions than this, but it's the one I use. It lets you set the speed and follow along, which is helps SO MUCH when you're dealing with dry boring material. You can even put your class notes in there and it will read them out loud to help you with memorization. Source: over 2 years ago

  I wrote my entire explanation of WHY I am having them do the assignment. Please note that I also included a link to naturalreaders.com and told them that because this was so important that if they had trouble reading long text (and these instructions are not that long) to use the text-to-speech function.   Upload text and documents or convert to mp3 to listen to anywhere anytime. Bored of reading everything? Upload the text on this site and it will convert it in mp3 file. Really good one in my persoanl opinion Https://naturalreaders.com. Source: over 2 years ago

• Trying the L-R method; any idea where I can find dual language copies of novels?

  TL = target language, in your case, Spanish. I've been doing a lot of L-R--but as Ryan says, just with Spanish text/audio. I can recommend these sites: openlibrary.org (free to sign up for/use), librosdemario, holaebook, and lelibros.online. I then use the Google Read&Write extension to read the text to me if it's online or naturalreaders.com if it's a download. Good luck! Source: about 3 years ago
