Overpriced and underperforming. https://thelightphone.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
I’ve noticed at first I was justifying the phone to people who thought I was nuts. Now I just say I’m simplifying and tell them to go to thelightphone.com. But it’s interesting getting peoples take on it. Some think it’s the best idea ever, and some think I’ve lost it. Source: over 2 years ago
You need to go to the dashboard at thelightphone.com :) That's where you can add those additional tools. I think Maps is coming this week, so I don't believe you can add that one quite yet. For the time, I believe I set this up when I started the phone. Did you do like a factory re-set type of thing when you got it? I went to the "time" setting in settings and it looks like all you can do there is change the time... Source: almost 3 years ago
I got mine and my son's two weeks ago. From placing the order to having the phone in hand it took 6 days. Granted I got the LP202 (international version) but I can't imagine the US version would take much longer. As for updates once you register to thelightphone.com website you'll get emails from them or you'll find the ones you missed posted here by other users. Source: almost 3 years ago
Zuplo - Add API Key authentication, rate limiting, and developer documentation to any API in minutes. The free plan offers up to 10 projects, unlimited production edge environments, 250 API keys, 100K monthly requests, and 1GB egress. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
If people are looking for an alternative - I have been using Zuplo and loving it so far. Not open source though. Source: about 1 year ago
This seems ridiculous - perhaps they are trying to curb how many free users they have relative to paying users? I was thinking of using it for my hobby project - any other free suggestions? I am currently playing with Zuplo: https://zuplo.com/ but I am open to suggestions. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Just adding to the list. You can build a pretty fully-featured API layer for free using Zuplo. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm super happy I found zuplo.com: it's 100% managed, and by default deployed to the edge instead of some specific region. It comes with an Authentication service that allows for anyone to self-serve their API Keys, global rate limiting (🤯) and any custom stuff I can program it with Javascript/TS (no XML shit).
