I am free to use any existing library or whatnot, what I was wondering is how easy it is to implement and deploy. I'm not being asked to build a full live chat from scratch, just try and implement a solution that won't add monthly charges to the predicted monthly cost of the website (ie pre-made solutions such as livechat.com that would cost atleast $16/mo). For all my family (6 also) I moved all their emails to a free Gmail account, and used forwardmx.io (single domain = US$24/yr) to forward emails to free Gmail, and use their SMTP to send email from my domain. Source: about 2 years ago
All emails going to olddomain.com are handled by forwardmx.io (my own emails forward to [me@newdomain.com](mailto:me@newdomain.com), and the rest of the fam's emails get forwarded to [them@gmail.com](mailto:them@gmail.com)). Source: over 2 years ago
