Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing Llama Life and Talkspace.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Llama Life's answer

Unlike many other task managers and focus tools in the market, we also focus on fun - think confetti, colour and emoji themes. We also have features designed to help specifically with time blindness and task initiation. Another key focus for us is to never overwhelm our community- we're designed to feel simple to use.

  • Managing time when working from home
You should try https://llamalife.co/ it's something you can use right on your desktop.. Its a pompdoro/time blocking tool and is brilliant! Source: almost 1 year ago
  • Time management
Just started using https://llamalife.co Let's see how long it lasts! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Life changing tool for me!
So I started a trial for this co-working platform called Flow Club after reading this mini book by Nik from ADHDVision and it has been life changing!!! Its like someone turned on a switch in my brain, the time blocking + social accountability aspect of it just really seems to make sense to my ADHD brain. I managed to get a lot of things that I've been postponing for days, even years, finally done! I've been... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Help me pick my next iOS project
I just checked out BenchApp's landing page and app. Looks solid. I too play beer league. My team uses TeamSnap, which is soooo old and unrefreshed. Not sure if you guys struggle with SEO, but your website does feel catered towards hockey (Gretzky reference, drink manager). You should build different use case landing pages for various sports. Llamalife did it recently with ADHD use cases and it helped them. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a time-blocking app that doesn’t start at a specific time but rather when you activate it manually.
Have you tried llamalife? It’s web only, but sounds like what you want - set a list of tasks with duration and push play (or pause) whenever you like. Source: over 1 year ago

  • How do I find a therapist?
Talkspace.com (PAID + have providers that are readily available). Source: over 1 year ago
  • I did my taxes in ten minutes today but it took me several hours of phone calls and filling out forms to find one therapist I’m not sure about who will only talk to me during hours I’m supposed to be at work.
I know what you mean. Unsure if you‘re still looking for a therapist or not, but if you’d like another resource, you could check out an online therapy provider. There are a number of them out there, but a more prominent one would be something like talkspace.com. Source: over 1 year ago
  • can't make sense of feelings, relapsed with SH
I realize that the article may not help with solving the issue(s) causing the desire to self harm, so therapy may be a good idea as well. I don’t know how familiar you are with therapy, but a site like talkspace.com may be a good place to start and see if therapy works for you. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Am I where I'm supposed to be in life?
If you’re interested in starting therapy (if you’re already going, continue) for the anxiety, something like talkspace.com might be a place to start in your search. Source: over 1 year ago
  • So you need to find a therapist, where should you look?
Cerebral.com, betterhelp.com, & talkspace.com can also be helpful. I do want to caution that text therapy has not been shown to be as effective as face to face therapy. Teletherapy, where you are having a real time conversation, has been shown to be as effective as in-person therapy. It can also be cheaper. Example, my rate is $85. Most in-person therapists around me charge $120-$150. Source: almost 2 years ago
