It is very well built with simplicity in mind. There are several themes and all of them look amazing. I love the "typewriter" and "focus" mode. In contrast with other apps that focus the current window and remove all visibility options, Typora goes one step ahead and fades down all other paragraphs as well.
Based on our record, Typora seems to be a lot more popular than Looka. While we know about 84 links to Typora, we've tracked only 2 mentions of Looka. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
You absolutely need a logo that is more than just the letter T, which you've indicated you're already working on. If your designer doesn't come through, another way way to quickly create a decent logo is with this tool: https://looka.com/logo-maker/ . Best to have a designer do it, though, so hopefully yours does come through. Source: over 2 years ago
Logo-wise, it can be a similar time-consuming activity. Try using a logo maker to speed up the process or at least get a vision for what your logo should look like. You can always rebrand as your business grows or diversifies. Source: about 3 years ago

If Lexeme is similar to Typora (https://typora.io), it could be fantastic and might even surpass Typora in terms of quality. On the other hand, if Typora already has these features, it's quite powerful. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

Evernote was ok for a little bit, but the only thing it really did for me was search... Once I realized that I switched tactics. I organized my life into domains, and got okay at using grep to replace it. My saving grace that I would pay twice for is https://typora.io. Though worth mentioning Apple Notes has come a long way. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
Typora https://typora.io/ Open source — https://hackmd.io/ I’ve used all three, the first two are are WYSIWYG. All are collaborative. HackMD has a nice two window editor that renders MD as you type. Curious how Vrite compares with these. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
