We came up with the idea for Mailbites after working on a lot of custom emails for a client (we're freelancers). During the whole process we just wished that there was something like TailwindUI, but for emails. Something, from where we could copy the code and make it ours. That's how it got started! 🚀

In comparison to other sellers, we don't just offer email templates. We have a collection of components, sections and layouts as well, which you can use to build your own custom email experience. And we have templates as well.

I use Mailgun myself, but https://emailoctopus.com might be worth a look. Like Sendy they also use Amazon SES, so should be pretty cheap. And then you wouldn't have to deal with hosting it yourself, unlike Sendy. They say they have a developer API so maybe you can get metrics from that. Both Sendy and Email Octopus have list segmentation which should do the job for hiding sponsors; not sure if either of them... Source: almost 3 years ago
