By default, the IPX image optimizer that the image module is using, needs to have a list of domains that can be used for optimizing the images. For now, what would happen is that our Banner would be displayed, but it wont be optimized. Yeah, CSS is something that requires practice. I'll say 1st week (or maybe less) for HTML and then the remaining 2 for CSS. There are some good resources like frontendmentor.io that you can try to get some understanding of how HTML and CSS work together. I'll say don't waste too much time on learning.
