I didn't catch the first thread so I'm not sure how this is going down, but there are a couple different websites that let people watch the same movie online that has a chatroom. I've used this one before and it's fun and really easy to use: https://getmetastream.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
w2g is currently bugged at the moment; until it's fixed, I recommend you use a dedicated website/extension like https://getmetastream.com/ or https://hyperbeam.com/ as it is far better because you can use them for any site. Maybe your best bet is to upload to YouTube as unlisted and use https://annotate.tv … on iOS I use KMPlayer to add markers (boorkmarks) and use those to annotate once back home. Wish there was something better. Source: about 2 years ago
