Maybe a raspberry pi that's on 24/7 connected to wifi and use that to send the wake over lan signal to the server? Arduino on the power pins also works, I did something quite similar but with a Bluetooth board, the code was really simple I just made an Android app with MIT app inventor that sent a signal to the hc_05 bt board, once the Arduino received that signal it shorted the power pin to 5v for half a second... Hi, it just occurred to me to share a browser extension I've used for a while, that's nice for a lot of things, it shows up on your new tab page, and has a nice picture and nice quotes but also has a place to identify what you're trying to, focus on, but it also first asks you your name (and you can change it whenever you want) and then regularly addresses you with that name when you open a new tab, it's called...
