RipX can do stem separation and allows repitching notes in the mix. If that is what you want to do it is great. I find moises (https://moises.ai/) to be easy to use for the tasks I need to do. It allows transposing or time scaling the entire song. It does stem separation and has a simple interface for muting and changing the volume on a per-track basis. It auto-detects the beat and chords. If you have the song file, you can also see if moises.ai can isolate the guitar track for you. Source: over 1 year ago
I also use moises.ai to separate instruments - it gets rid of vocals quite well, usually separates the bass too, athough it struggles to distinguish guitar from piano (understandably). Source: over 1 year ago
Instead of a standard media player, you can also use something like moises.ai to remove the vocal (or make it quieter so you can hear the tone, but sing over the top). That way you can try to mix your own vocal into the reference track until it sounds pretty good. I've been using the moises.ai app since the beginning of 2023, to isolate a lot of Vinny and Weckl stuff . AMAZING PROGRAM! Source: almost 2 years ago
I extracted the vocal stem using melody.ml so they already aren't great quality, right now I just have some basic equing and Soundgoodizer preset A on the master. Source: almost 2 years ago
Download his songs off youtube and then import em into melody.ml. Source: almost 2 years ago
Since it seems pretty similar to 302 you could also isolate the frequencies or extract all the parts to see how he mixed it. melody.ml is a decent way to have a quick look at volume levels and sounds used IMO. Source: almost 2 years ago
Have a wav or mp3, you could download from youtube using https://yt1s.com Remove vocals using Https://melody.ml Or for a download version: Https://makenweb.com/SpleeterGUI. Source: about 2 years ago
I'd study every single record of Midnight Star, D-Train, Shalamar, all that kind of stuff. Use https://melody.ml/ to isolate the bass so you can really hear what's going on. Source: about 2 years ago
