I just used multcloud.com to transfer all of my photos to Dropbox. Im pretty sure it retained all of the original photo data and was way easier than that takeout bullshit. Source: about 1 year ago
Better use Rclone for this. I don't have very much experience using rsync, but I know Rclone would do this job very fine. If you don't want to get a VPS or run Rclone locally, you could consider a service like multcloud.com to migrate from Google Drive to Dropbox. Source: about 1 year ago
I did some Googling, and found there's a service called MultCloud. Source: over 1 year ago
I might have found a workaround if no one else has any other idea. This site (multcloud.com) is for transferring between clouds. Source: about 2 years ago
I have tried multcloud.com, cloudsfer.com end some minor ones. None of these are accurate IMHO. They are not able to move all contents leaving me with an issue to check hundreds of items. Also they do not provide a simple feature: move ALL from A to B, period. I do have loose photos and many Albums I would like to preserve. Sadly, Google Drive desktop client is not able to create Albums based on directories. Source: over 2 years ago
I personally use Filen (https://filen.io/) because of its lifetime plans. It just works for me. Source: 7 months ago
I wanted to try filen.io so I got a 500GB plan during the Black Friday. The main reason was the Zero knowledge end-to-end encryption. Source: 7 months ago
At the moment I thinking about:tier 1: filen.io. Source: 10 months ago
A second option: Filen has 10GB free and 100GB lifetime for €30. Their higher-capacity plans are pretty affordable too. Source: about 1 year ago
Hi ! I've just discovered a cloud provider called Filen : filen.io, they offer a desktop app to sync local folder to remote. The app is an AppImage, I've tried to run it all day long. It starts normally, but once I'm logged in, the app GUI just closes and does not show itself in the taskbar anymore, but the AppImage is still working in background (Console is still open, and system monitor shows some process).
