It's indeed suspicious. You're sending your voice samples, your various services accounts, your location and more private data to some proprietary black box in some public cloud. Sorry, but this is a privacy nightmare. It should be open source and self-hosted like Mycroft (https://mycroft.ai) or Leon (https://getleon.ai) to be trustworthy. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
I was expecting this to be about Mycroft the AI assistant ( https://mycroft.ai/ ). - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
But I would recommend writing some proper glue logic in Python and use the socket function for communication. But if you really want to get rid of Alexa, it's probably worth it to set up mycroft.ai or another open source assistant. Source: about 1 year ago

If you should decide to try Catherine's again, try doing a google search for Catherines Free Shipping or something like that. I often find a free shipping code on retailmenot.com Same with a lot of other stores. I've happened on coupons and ended up with unexpected discounts. There are a few coupon sites out there. Protect yourself by first pulling your FICO score (go to MyFico and pull your own score, and you can get a coupon from retailmenot.com) and shop around. You can shop around for rates without a hard pull so you know how much car you can afford for the interest rate you would qualify for with that FICO. When you pull your own FICO this way, it doesn't count as a hard pull and puts more knowledge in your hands. Source: about 2 years ago
I'm in Canada, too. Lands' End has fast shipping to Canada, and I've bought a lot of quality basics from them. They have lined leggings here, though I haven't bought them myself: https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-high-rise-serious-sweats-fleece-lined-pocket-leggings/id_359400?attributes=3298,44967. Lands' End always has discount codes (sign up for emails or check retailmenot.com), so never pay full price. Source: over 2 years ago
