I highly suggest checking out Natural Atlas (https://naturalatlas.com/) by the same small team who made the CoTrex app (https://trails.colorado.gov/) for Colorado Parks and Wildflife. A really fantastic team building some absolutely gorgeous topographic basemaps from publicly available data. Hey everyone, I am planning on making use of my remote gig in the fall of 2023 after I graduate the May before, and am thinking of starting in Mancora Peru. I have spent quite a bit of time on selina.com looking at their hostels, and they have one there, and they look pretty sweet. Not to mention their co-work space would be useful.
