Weird that Google is selling a six year old product that they haven’t EOLed. I can’t imagine all the chips we sourced in 2015 are all still available. It takes a full time team of engineers to keep a hardware product shipping as parts need to be updated regularly, with the increase in products covering fewer systems each, but about the same overall coverage of an older but more expensive product, it might makes... What do you mean the temperature sensors don't work? They work just fine with the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen (https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_learning_thermostat_3rd_gen). The "Nest Thermostat" isn't a replacement for the top end of the Nest product line. Source: about 3 years ago
