  There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader. HOWEVER, I'm always looking for a secondary browser that I can use for a quick consult or managing my router settings quickly without wasting too much RAM in the process.
