  • As long as there are 10 different streaming services and certain region restrictions they can gtfo. I'll be here downloading whatever I want.
Hello, I got used to use RARBG and now I am struggling a bit to find new good content online so I went on youtube to try to understand how to download movies and TV series for free using these "words" you showed and some hours latter what I understood is that the PLEX server is a tool for streaming files you have in one device to other devices. Then Radarr and Sonarr are used by PLEX to organize these movies and... Source: 12 months ago
  • Help troubleshoot why NZBGet isn't downloading?
I've set NZBGet up to use newshosting.com as the level 0 news host and I have an active paid account with them. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Faster Highspeed Internet not faster Newsgroup downloads
Just upgraded to a 1.5 gb fiber connection and after much discussion with Telus I was actually able to get the advertised speeds (1440 Mbps) on my PC. However I found that my downloads from newshosting.com peaked at 120 MB/s then dropped to 40 MB/s. Anythoughts on what this might be? Throttling or is their speed limits on the newshosting side. I'm hoping there's a way to get the client to complete that process. Unfortunately, the help page on newshosting.com appears to be broken. Source: over 1 year ago

  • haskell todo list app (beginner)
I would suggest checking out scotty for the http server - it uses warp by default, and is very beginner-friendly. Source: about 1 year ago
  • School of Haskell: Basics
If you're not a fan of the ruby-on-rails / swiss army knife approach that IHP takes, check out Scotty. Add Lucid for Html rendering, and Selda for Postgres. • Use Haskell from Nodejs
Writing a Haskell webserver (maybe using scotty) and call it from node. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Programming language comparison by reimplementing the same transit data app
I think ‘worst’ is very subjective here. It certainly does aim to be an all-encompassing ‘framework’ — but this is hardly unusual amongst web libraries (not just for Haskell!), and I feel Yesod gets the job done pretty well. Of course, Haskell has many alternatives if you don’t like Yesod: amongst other libraries, there’s Servant [0], snap [1], scotty [2], and the lower-level wai [3] and warp [4] if you feel the... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Suggestions for "dashboard" graphics libraries?
I've found htmx and hyperscript talking to scotty to be an easy way to get something like this going while retaining the joys of Haskell on the backend and avoiding the pains of Haskell on the frontend. Source: almost 2 years ago
