  • How could I send .gcode wirelessly
The cheapest way is to use OctoPrint. Octoprint itself is free, and although it's often run on a Raspberry Pi, it can be installed on many things, such as an old laptop runing Linux or even Windows, or a small single-board computer. OctoPrint would connect to the printer using a USB cable, and you'd send the slicer output to Octoprint over your WiFi. Source: 7 months ago

  • Raspberry Pi 5
    - Two LibreELEC (https://libreelec.tv/) mediaplayers in house (yes, one is not enough in my big family). - One for hosting low usage applications at home network (Unifi controller and some more). - Octoprint (https://octoprint.org) connected to the 3d-printer. - One on my desk for hardware hacking – mostly as just a PC with GPIO. - Some Raspberry Pi Zeros as security cameras. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • [3D Printer] (Microcenter In-Store Only) Creality Ender 3 V2 3D Printer - $99.99 ($279.00-$179.01)
Really quite easy, especially if you have ever dealt with a raspberry pi before. Once installed & set up, you manage everything over a web interface. I even added a webcam to it in order to see what's going on. Check out https://octoprint.org/. Source: 12 months ago
  • Aquila X2 locking up after printing crash
For other devices it can be harder, there are guides for installing on Linux on the octoprint website (I use an old laptop running Linux Mint). If using an old Android phone look for Octo4A. Source: 12 months ago

  • How to fix magic poser "your device isn't compatible with this version" error?
Not an actual solution but I recommend you use a browser based alternative such as https://justsketch.me/ and https://posemy.art/ which have similar features. Source: almost 1 year ago
  • Does anyone know a website I could use to look at 3D models of statues from any angle?
Howdy, I been obsessed with drawing Greek and Roman statues off of pinterest at the moment. I was wondering if there's any website out there that lets you look at 3D models of these statues from any angle by rotating the models similar to how you would on justsketch.me. If not, can anyone suggest a website where you can get high resolution photos of these statues? They're so fun to draw. I remember I really... Source: about 1 year ago

  • Looking for Model Posing Software to use in NAI's image2image
This won't help for posing existing characters and straight img2img, but I use justsketch.me's free web app to make poses for NAI's form lock feature. It works... fine. The body shapes usually start out kind of funky, but once you manage to generate something more human-looking, like this quick and lazy example, you can then form lock that and keep refining. • Would like some feedback on composition/proportion/anatomy/etc pls!
Very detailed feedback thank you! I used a website called JustSketchMe . Highly recommend! Source: over 1 year ago
