You can go around some of the extra processing by using other camera apps, for example "Open Camera". It can even shoot RAW photos, so that the least amount of processing is applied to the image. But of course there will always be cases where this is just not possible or economically feasible to do (It can be very time-consuming) so I've got a subscription to Poliigon as well - They've got very high quality materials, textures, HDRI's and models too and a very nice thing about their site is that you can pick exactly which 3D software and which render engine you're using, so you get a tailored product for... Nice :). Yes, I added falling snow in post. Ground is snow material from poliigon.com. Rest is done with poly snow plugin. I tried tyflow and forest pack with blobmesh, but poly snow was easiest and fastest way to add snow. Source: over 2 years ago
