My video editor of choice is Kdenlive. It's modeled after Adobe Premiere (more or less), and has a bit of a learning curve. Olive is another promising option, but similarly tricky to master. Openshot is a pretty easy editor that works similarly. All of them are free and open source. Davinci Resolve is a professional-grade editor, and free, but not open source. Source: over 1 year ago
Look at the help tab, click on the about. Here you'll find the version your running, the build #, and the build date. You can then go to the openshot.org website and compare. Source: over 1 year ago
Get an app that lets you loop sections of a song and/or speed it up/slow it down. Loop the section you want to work on. If it's too fast, slow it down. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you’re on Android, use this app to slow down any song as much as you want and add reverb. Tons of other settings available too but the ability to slow down any audio file on my phone to any pitch and speed I want and listen to it real-time was phenomenal. Don't have to go to yt or soundcloud for that stuff anymore. Absolutely recommend it if you’re into slowed+reverbed songs. Source: almost 3 years ago
