Top 10 Best MobaXterm Alternatives for Windows, macOS & Linux In 2021
OpenSSH is a safe and secure alternative to tools like MobaXterm (for which the password flows in clear on the network), however it is much more than that considering that it likewise permits to release remote commands (like rsh, or remsh), but also to transfer whole files or directories (like rcp). OpenSSH is available in the form of a daemon and a customer, the daemon...

  • Spring '23 has got to be the most issue-plagued release I've ever seen in my near-decade working with Salesforce
I still can't believe what horse shit Data Loader is. They even own a much better product with dataloader.io but won't make it free even though data movement is integral to a useful database. Source: over 1 year ago
  • A tool to back up a SalesForce instance for migration?
Check to make sure you're actually on the once a month limit. Our org we can do weekly data exports. You can also export your objects by reports, dataloader.io (with limits), and some other tools. Depending on the data's final destination, it may be worth keeping some Salesforce licenses and seeing if you can transfer/sync data via APIs or middleware tools rather than do it manually. Talk to the vendor of whatever... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Importing Data using custom logic
Does either dataloader.io or data import wizard allow for custom logic? I'm matching the contact by full name and crd#. The logic I want to introduce is where contact's field: "platform" = envestnet. Or should I be thinking about creating a flow that will handle the logic to match the contacts from my spreadsheet? Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Data loader to update records without using record ID?
I think dataloader.io and def dataimporter.io offer name match. Up to 10k (or 20k for the latter) records/mo free. Source: almost 2 years ago
