We've used Padlet in the past but switched to Menti a year ago or so. There are many other tools, and most have an export feature, which allows you to download the data in a format readable by Excel. In Excel, we code each comment according to the categories covered by our in-house course survey: content, facilitation, duration, pacing, venue, materials, learning, relevance, satisfaction, and likelihood to recommend. I wholly agree with you on this one. Windows has its fair share of issues, but Windows Explorer feels like peak file browsing to me. For MacOS I can recommend Forklift [0]. I've been using it for years and it is a bit closer to the Windows Explorer way of doing things. Does what it is meant to do. Affordable. No nags. Gets out of the way.
