  If you do find a way to hide app menus you might consider using Paletro or a similar extension for an automation tool, I know Alfred has a workflow for it, I'm guessing Raycast, Launchbar and maybe even Keyboard Maestro do to.   How is performance these days? I used to use it or an alternative workflow and there was always a few second lag when I activated the workflow in each respective app for the first time after rebooting.   Try out remote.co or indeed.com, and search for remote. Some places have no restrictions on where they hire, and some will be state-specific. Amazon, Home Depot, most of the credit card companies, TTEC, you'd be surprised how many places hire remotely. Most of them will supply you with some, if not all of the equipment that you need.
