Also, the free version has a lot of features that paid versions don't have, so I highly recommend it. This program is great for students who want to improve their writing skills. It's especially helpful for those who write in other languages, because the grammar checker can help you spot errors in your translations.

Grammar checking, word echo checking, style checking, passive voice monitoring, etc, etc. ProWritingAid is a really powerful piece of editing software. There have been and still are lots of apps that do this very thing from various angles. Unfortunately, my favourite apps are no longer supported. They were: Dreamweaver; and PHPed. I would suggest checking out BlueGriffon for example. Source: about 1 year ago
