Also, the free version has a lot of features that paid versions don't have, so I highly recommend it. This program is great for students who want to improve their writing skills. It's especially helpful for those who write in other languages, because the grammar checker can help you spot errors in your translations.

My own experience from more or less freelancing: If you create an account on a preconfigured server without setting it up on a machine of your own, e.g. On odoo.com / odoo.sh, or cloudpepper.io/ and don't need very specific configurations done, plus are willing to try out and learn a lot (we're speaking about days, not hours, depending on what you need even more than a week) you can do it on your own.
