I did a little research and then according Mitchell Brown on quora.com, it's stated that the intro of Portal 2 suggests that it takes place far in the future, but many have speculated it takes place around the time of Half Life 2. That would mean between approximately 2020 and 2029, give or take. The Black Mesa incident occurred in the year “200-”, according to canon sources. This means it could have happened at... My school gives me a laptop that is very restricted, most settings cannot be changed without admin, everything is logged, cmd blocked, websites blocked, etc. My laptop with Zorin OS (linux) does not have that issue so I always keep it in my bag. I would like to connect to the school wifi, however they still block certain web requests like quora.com, and nordvpn.com to name a few. For some reason my phone has no... Source: about 1 year ago
Consider substack, too. I subscribe to four substack blogs, ranging from $3 to $10 a month. This is split between author and substack. Also check out medium.com and quora.com If you don't make money now, you'll at least pack your writing resume. Source: about 1 year ago

The thing that I try to keep in mind is that - injury or no injury - I would be different now than I was then anyway. that's just how life goes. Meditation has really helped me in this area... To... Am I missing something? I can’t find mention of “philosopher” on samharris.org or wakingup.com. I see a mention of neuroscientist, but I think a PhD degree should allow you to call yourself that. As for credibility in both areas, check citations to his works - books (philosophy) as well as scientific papers (neuroscience). Source: over 1 year ago
It's cliche, but try to take it one day at a time, one step at a time. meditation has helped me out a lot over the years... If you want to at least give it a shot, you can do a free 30-day trial at wakingup.com. I've made it part of my morning routine and, though it's not a cure-all, it really can get you in the right headspace to start your day with a little less stress. Source: over 1 year ago
